As a company known for its commitment to quality and community engagement, My Magic Carpet  sought to contribute to the well-being of Alexandria House residents. My Magic Carpet generously donated washable rugs, adding a touch of luxury to the living spaces and allowing residents to enjoy a clean and cozy environment.

In addition to providing comfort for the homes, the My Magic Carpet team extended their generosity to the youngest residents of Alexandria House by donating toys. These colorful and engaging toys not only bring joy to the children but also contribute to their cognitive and emotional development.

The Yellow & Green House

The Yellow and Green House accommodates six families and is crucial in fostering a sense of community. The generous support of a five-year donor who cooks for families on holidays exemplifies the spirit of collective care that defines Alexandria House. The resilience of this house is evident in the fact that it rose from the ashes after a fire, thanks to the unwavering support of loyal donors.

New Housing

With a commitment to expanding its impact, Alexandria House has acquired a new building that includes 37 affordable housing units. This addition represents a significant step forward in addressing the ongoing housing crisis in the greater Los Angeles metro area, ensuring more individuals and families have access to safe and stable living conditions to help them succeed in their future. 

Healthcare and Support Services

Understanding that physical and mental well-being are integral to stability, Alexandria House assists residents in accessing medical care and mental health services. The devoted staff, like our tour guide, Italia Saravia, support and empower residents on their journey to independence. 

Community Programs

The organization receives over 1000 calls a month for residency placement, showcasing the immense need for such services in the community. While Alexandria House cannot accommodate all caller's requests for housing, the staff serves as a source of support, offering a listening ear and guidance.
