Is my rug machine-washable?

Yes! That is part of the magic!

What is the best way to wash and dry my rug?

Spot treat stains immediately. Machine wash separately in any conventional washer in cold water on a delicate cycle using mild detergent.

Do not use bleach.

Machine dry separately on low heat or air-dry. Avoid high heat settings and remove promptly to avoid creases.

You can add your favorite dryer sheets to remove wrinkles if needed.

Lay carpet out as soon as possible to prevent wrinkles, and do not use an iron.

How should I treat pet accidents or spills?

For liquid spills and pet accidents, soak up the liquid using a towel as soon as you notice it.

For larger accidents, we recommend washing your rug immediately after cleaning up the accident.

The great thing about My Magic Carpet rugs is that they have an inner waterproof lining, so spills and accidents won't seep through to your floors.

Can I use bleach when washing my rug?

No. We do not recommend using bleach when washing your rug.

Can I vacuum my rug?

Yes. We recommend turning the agitator off when vacuuming or using a medium-suction setting.

What do I do if my rug has fold creases and doesn't lay flat when I take it out of the box?

Wash your rug following our care instructions. Add your favorite dryer sheets to help eliminate wrinkles during the dry cycle. If the creases still don’t budge, don’t worry.

They usually flatten out within 24-48 hours after laying your rug flat on the floor.

The Magic

What is the rug made of?

The top is made of 100% microfiber polyester with a waterproof inner lining made of polyurethane.

The nonslip back is made of 100% polyester coating anti-slip pvc dot.

How thick is the rug?

The rug is 1/4 of an inch thick. The low-pile and lightweight rug is designed to fit in the home washer and dryer. It also fits perfectly under a standard door.

Are your rugs non-slip?

Yes, the patent pending nonslip bottom will not leave any markings on the hardwood floors.

Do I need to purchase a rug pad to go underneath my rug?

No, that's part of the magic! The rug is washable and nonslip so there is no extra rug pad or nonslip parts necessary.

Can I use my rug on carpet?

Yes, but we don't recommend this. The nonslip bottom is not effective on carpet

Will spills or pet-accidents seep through my rug onto the floor?

No, that's part of the magic! My Magic Carpet rugs have a waterproof inner lining that stops liquid from seeping through to the floor.

Is my rug stain-resistant?

Yes, that's part of the magic! Although My Magic Carpet rugs are made of 100% microfiber polyester, which is naturally stain-resistant, some stains set in quickly.

We recommend spot treating accidents and washing your rug immediately after noticing a spill or pet accident.

Care for oil-based stains immediately to reduce the risk of permanently staining your rug.

How do I check the shipping status of my order?

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to all States in the Continental USA. All available shipping territories will be listed during your checkout.

If it's not listed we currently do not offer shipping to territories such as Alaska, American Samoa, District of Columbia, Guam, Hawaii, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.

We do ship to Post Office Boxes. Please note that this may result in a change of carrier or shipping cost. We are unfortunately not able to ship to APO or FPO addresses.

How big are the packages?

The largest shipping package is 60 in L x 84 in W x 0.25 in H, 6.45lbs for a 5x7' size rug.

Why does the color of my rug look slightly different then the photo online?

Due to the difference of monitor colors, some rug colors may vary slightly.

We try to represent all rug colors accurately. Please refer to the rug's online description for a detailed outline of the colors shown in the photo.

Returns and Refunds

Do you offer returns and exchanges?

Yes - Our goal at My Magic Carpet is to help you design a beautiful and comfortable home. That’s why we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all our products.

Our products can be returned for free within 30 days of delivery for a replacement, exchange, or refund EXCEPT for international and Canada orders. Please contact our customer service team for cost.

We want you to feel confident and inspired while shopping our online store. If you receive a damaged or defective product, we will send you a replacement. If you receive your product and simply aren’t 100% happy with it, you can send it back to us for a refund

What if I want a refund?

Our return policy covers returns of products in new or “like-new” condition up to 30 days after delivery, excluding any products listed as nonrefundable at the time of purchase. Product(s) must be returned with its original, undamaged, packaging.

To receive a full refund, items should be returned without:

Pet dander or fur

Dirt or grass stains

Signs of wear, washing, or improper care

Damage or stains

We recommend that you add support@buymymagiccarpet.com to your SAFE SENDERS list to avoid the notification getting filtered as spam/junk mail.

Repack the item(s) in the original packing material.

Complete, detach, and enclose the RETURN FORM.
Remove or cover all original shipping labels.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Refunds are applied your original payment method. Credit card refunds can take up to 1-2 statement cycles to appear.
