Monica, Our Co-founder Mom
As a mom and animal lover, My Magic Carpet's Co-Founder, Monica Dallyn, knew she wanted to design a home decor product to help her and other mothers keep their homes germ, dirt, and odor-free for their families. The idea developed after spending time playing with her son on the floor of their home. Monica noticed that the rug they were sitting on was still not clean, no matter how much she vacuumed.
Of course, bringing this new brand of rugs to life was no easy task, as Monica had to navigate the challenges of working and being a new mother. But then, one day, after all of the sacrifices, Monica realized her dream of creating a decorative rug that is both machine washable and non-slip for keeping high-energy young children and pets from injuries associated with falls.
Over the past year, Monica's success has made My Magic Carpet a household name with moms, fur baby moms, and businesses like animal rescues looking for a better way to keep their spaces spiffy and clean. Kids, pets, and yes, even fully grown adults have accidents, but that doesn't mean you should have to throw away a decent rug or spend a lot of money to clean it professionally.

Speaking of actual adults, like moms, isn't it almost time to celebrate this lovely woman? After all, she is the one person who was there for us when we lost our first tooth, fell running on sliding carpets, skinned our knees, and taught us how to get over our first heartbreak.
